Summer in the Mediterranean: Art and Photography
This program aims to provide an academic introduction to photography and painting, with an emphasis on practical concepts in both fields. Students have the opportunity to practice their skills and build a trial portfolio through field exercises in some of the most inspiring landscapes and cities in the world. Students travel to Athens and Rome by air and several Greek islands by cruise ship. This is an academic, but introductory level, program; more advanced photography or painting students should contact us to arrange advanced coursework or independent study.
Summer in the Mediterranean: Greek Heritage
This program is designed for students who would like an introduction to Modern Greek in an immersive setting, in one of the only two Greek-speaking countries in the world. The program combines language coursework along with cultural field exercises in Cyprus and Greece to build basic language proficiency and comprehension. Students visit Athens and the Greek islands by cruise ship. There is also a small program visit to Rome. This program is designed for students with modest or no Greek language skills.

This program is a program based on the beautiful Mediterranean island of Cyprus that combines a traditional immersion study abroad experience with educational travel to Greece, Italy and Spain and co-curricular focus on Mediterranean cultures. Students will experience Athens, Rome, Pisa, Florence, Venice and Barcelona on the travel component of this program. Semester in the Mediterranean: Greek Heritage
This program is a traditional full-immersion semester based in Nicosia. Students will take 2 courses on Greek art and language and can then select 3 more electives with which they can customize their curriculum across a wide range of courses available at Inter-college. In addition to the academic coursework, students participate in a trip to Greece, Italy and Spain, as well as a series of educational trips and cultural excursions within Cyprus. The excursions and cultural events ensure that students develop a relationship with Greek culture and enhance their intercultural competencies. This program is focused on students of Greek heritage.
