Semester in Paris: International Business
This program is designed for intermediate-to-advanced business and economics students who want to experience globalization and the world of international business in one of Europe's most important financial centers. Students will enroll in four to five business or economics courses taught at the American Business School of Paris and share their experiences with students from across the globe. In addition to their chosen coursework, students will benefit from several corporate site visits in Paris and excursions to Nice, Monaco, the Cote d'Azur, Chartres and the Loire Valley.
Summer in Paris: French Language
This program at the Sorbonne is an accelerated version of the Semester language program that is well suited for students who cannot spend a semester studying French or who would like further language skill development. This program has multiple program option lengths and intensities so we encourage students to contact us to discuss which option would be right for them. As with our semester language programs, we supplement the Sorbonne programs with immersive field exercises focused on language practice and intercultural competencies.
Global Business Semester - From London to Hong Kong!
The Global Business Semester explores the powerful forces of globalization and how they are impacting the business environment. The program examines the implications for the United States and the European Union, as well as the practical career impact on today's business graduates. This program is a one-of-a-kind program for art, design and photography students of an intermediate-to-advanced academic level. The program is an excellent opportunity for business, economics and political science students to gain valuable insight into the business and political world of one of the European Union's most important nations. Students will take two 3-credit courses taught in English on topics such as European Business, European Consumer Behavior, International Relations, Economic Evolution since World War II, Anthropology of Tourism and the History of Modern France. This is matched by excursions to Brussels in Belgium and Chartres in the Loire Valley, as well as a few interesting corporate site visits within Paris.
