Carpe Diem Latitudes Program
Latitudes - Semester Overseas + Internship Small group semester abroad, followed by semester solo internship of your choosing. Latitudes is Carpe Diem's seven-month personalized study abroad program that allows for a broad exposure to a fascinating region of the earth with a group of peers, followed by three months of focused solo work and travel in a country of your choice.
The Education Abroad Network: Sustainable Development in Southeast Asia
This multi-disciplinary program works in two separate modules, integrating the social science disciplines of geography, sociology, political science, economics and law with natural science, as well as examining a general survey of Thai culture and society. Students will formally undertake two courses, or modules, taught by faculty from Chiang Mai's Payap University. The first module, Sustainable Development in Southeast Asia, is designed to introduce students to the complexities of development processes and problems in the Mekong region that result from the impact in changes in cultural and political movements, government legislation, economic and trade relations, resource use and health issues....
Southeast Asia Semester: Environment, International Studies, and Buddhism
This program is an introduction to Southeast Asian culture, environment, and Buddhism. Students will volunteer in a variety of meaningful environmental and social service projects, join an introduction to Thai Buddhism course, and finish with SCUBA certification.
