Highlights

The University of Limerick is located only three miles from the bustling city of Limerick in western Ireland. Well-known for its vibrant night life, Limerick offers plenty of modern clubs as well as more traditional Irish pubs. Proud home to the ancient St. John's Castle and the Irish World Music Centre, Limerick also has a reputation as a major cultural and historic site. For sightseers, there is a multitude of walking and hiking trails traversing the famously green countryside, and the Irish capital of Dublin is only a two hour's train ride away.

Over 6,000 full-time and 3,000 part-time students are enrolled at the University of Limerick, many of whom live on campus. The University offers state-of-the-art sporting facilities, including an elite weight training suite and the first 50 meter swimming pool in Ireland.

Furthermore, there are two excursions included in the program, including a trip to Dublin each semester, as well as a weekend trip to another county in Ireland. There are also numerous cultural events that students can participate in for free, including concerts and performances.
