Description

We are currently offering classes OR have classes coming up soon in English as a Foreign Language, TOEFL Preparation, Arabic, French, German and Spanish.

* English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and TOEFL Preparation

Our residential English programme is an intensive immersion course that lasts anywhere from 3 to 6 months. All of the classes up to the beginning of the last month are oriented toward EFL. The EFL classes all meet for 20 hours per week. The last month of all of our English programmes is devoted to TOEFL preparation. The TOEFL preparation classes meet for 12 hours per week for 4 weeks.

* Upcoming EFL/TOEFL Course

We have a 6-month intensive English course. It will include 5 months of EFL, and classes will meet for a total of 20 hours per week. The last month will be devoted exclusively to TOEFL preparation, and will meet 12 hours per week.

* Other Foreign Languages

NEW: Starting in September 2012, we will offer Arabic as a Second Language in an immersion format suitable for both university students wishing to do a semester (or a year) abroad, and for people learning Arabic for their own enjoyment. Please contact us for more information about this exciting new program.

We currently offer classes in Arabic, French, German and Spanish. Starting next semester we hope to include Russian and Italian, if demand permits. Our foreign language classes are offered in 5-week modules, wherein class meets twice per week for 2 hours each (total of 20 hours per module).

Our focus is on developing the four language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking plus building your confidence in real life situations. Our goal is to help you reach the required proficiency to do your very best on TOEFL.

We have accommodations available should you need them. During the course of your study with us, you have the option of living here on our student campus in one of our full-furnished studios. Our secured facilities include a swimming pool, gym, tennis and basketball courts, 3 restaurants, internet access and library. The Academy is within walking distance of the beach located on the beautiful Arabian Gulf.
