At SQUOLA, Study Abroad Italy offers Semester, Summer Session and Short-Term immersion language programs, in combination with Italian Studies courses taught in both Italian and English.

The contemporary approach of SQUOLA aims to go beyond traditional Italian language studies by teaching students how to speak and live in Italian society today. SQUOLA students will be exposed to the changing realities of the Italian language, its dialects, foreign influences, the advent of television and cinema, and the historic evolution of the language. During the semester SQUOLA offers two types of Intensive Italian Language programs: "Intensive Italian Language for 12 Credit" or "Intensive Italian Language for 9 Credits plus One Italian Studies course."
