The Spanish school in Santiago de Chile is located in the nice neighborhood of Providencia, the most popular area for foreigners in Santiago. It is the ideal location for your Spanish immersion, close to many restaurants, bars, cafes, attractive parks, museums, cinemas and shops. Providencia is an upper-middle class neighborhood and is safe at all hours. The school is a large, comfortable, colonial-style building with a spacious patio. There are 18 classrooms available, which have a total capacity of about 80 students. Students have access to several common areas, inside and outside, to enjoy breaks together. Furthermore the school provides free Internet access to the students. The school is centrally located, just a few minutes away from the subway station and several bus lines.

It is completely up to you which Spanish course you book with us. You can choose among three different kinds. All courses are available for any Spanish level. Classes take place from Monday to Friday and start always on Mondays.

Group course: If you like to get to know other international students and study Spanish together with them, then the group course will be the best fit for you. The class has a maximum of six students to ensure personalized instruction and a convenient study environment. The standard group course consists of 20 classes per week.

Intensive course: The intensive course is the combination of the group course and additional private lessons. This assures you a more personalized attention and allows you to fix language difficulties or to repeat certain topics with your private teacher parallel to your group course. You set the time schedule for the individual lessons and you can allocate the 10 additional private lessons flexibly during the afternoons.

Private course: Some students however book private lessons with a professor for a 100% individualized attention. Classes are tailored to your specific needs and they are an excellent idea for professionals who seek a vocabulary for specific situations. The private course consists of 20 hours per week.

Remember that the Spanish school in Santiago offers extra language tutorial lessons in the afternoon in order to help students repeating important topics or strengthening weaknesses. Every day one teacher is available to assist students in specific topics they need extra attention, reading suggestions, questions related to homework, etc. This is an extra value service, not comparable to private instruction but definitely beneficial to provide all the students maximum support.

Non-academic activities: In order to be able to familiarize with the Chilean culture and to get to know the country, the school regularly organizes spare time activities. Especially popular are the trips to Valparaiso or Viña del Mar at the Pacific coast, the excursion to Pablo Neruda's house in Isla Negra as well as rafting or skiing trips or wine tasting. You also can enjoy a wide range of workshops or activities during the week at the afternoon. Just a few examples are cooking lessons, dancing, barbecues, city walks, movies and so on. You won't have time to get bored!
