Based in the cradle of Peru's Sacred Valley, home to mysterious marvel on the Incan past, ProWorld's Culture and Development Studies semester in Peru balances site-based academics with service in sustainable community projects for a truly rewarding study abroad experience. Group volunteer efforts, field-based study, and cultural/adventure excursions complement courses with local and international professors and intensive language study to give greater insight into the local culture and create a fully integrated, immersive program experience!
Programs are highly supported by an onsite staff team and welcoming community partners. ProWorld, founded in 1998, is a true leader in the fields of study abroad and international development.

- Completion of one year of university studies and one semester of university level Spanish

- Intensive group orientation

- Academic classes four to five days a week
- Airport pick up in Cusco
- Full room and board with a local family

- 400 USD per student of development project funding
- Visits to Archeological sites, weekend hikes, and cultural activities

- 24 hour emergency contact on site
- Regular staff check ins and access to ProWorld office in Cusco
