Description
International University Language Courses (German as a Foreign Language) in the beautiful landscape of Carinthia at the shores of the famous "Woerthersee". Our courses are designed for all levels (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for language learning and teaching) from beginners to mastery level. Semester hours of credit is awarded by the University of Klagenfurt (15 contact hours = 1 credit).
Our language course specialists are exclusively native-speakers, have a solid didactic background, have international language course experience, have knowledge of up-to-date methods of language teaching on the basis of the targets set by the European Council and the Common European Framework of Language Learning and Teaching (Strasbourg 1996), have competent backgrounds and use the most progressive teaching methods, and regularly take part in education and training seminars.

Highlights
The University of Klagenfurt is a young and dynamic one, paying more attention to the individual student rather than to robes and other regalia of academic tradition. Nevertheless, it has gained its outstanding reputation thanks to its research and teaching. Due to recent renovation and expansion, the university, located at the crossroads of three cultures, has become a very attractive educational center, as surveys conducted amongst students and graduates and an increase in enrollment have shown. At present approx. 6,700 students from 61 different countries are enrolled at the university.
