Description

Coming to India as an artist can be a great way to further develop your artistic abilities. Art, whether displayed trough paintings or performed as music or theatre, has always been a great way of expressing one’s culture and way of thinking. Though being specifically linked to one’s culture, other people from different cultures often share the same meaning and experience.

In India you will not only be exposed to tons of new influences but will also be able to reflect on your own culture. The opportunity to share your own cultural roots and India’s ability to share her culture with you will surely become an enriching experience for you as an artist.

We at Knowledge Must are experienced in supporting artists to put their talents to good use and expand their horizons in India’s diverse geographies. Whether you want to fuse your dancing skills with classical Indian styles, learn to master one of the many traditional Indian musical instruments, or want to introduce India to your own creative expressions, there is unlimited potential and Knowledge Must will assist you to make most out of your opportunities.

Highlights

India is one of the world’s most diverse countries when it comes to culture, not least in the fields of fine arts, dance, music, and theatre. The huge variety of artistic traditions of all ethnic and religious groups in India, all with their own customs and styles, is very captivating and sometimes even overwhelming.

Knowledge Must will provide a full range of in-country services to you based on your personal needs. These include but are not limited to:

* Providing a platform that connects musicians, performers, designers, painters, writers, film makers, photographers, and other artists
* Consulting you on the best suited opportunities for your particular purposes
* Finding and securing the best suited jobs and performance opportunities

We invite artists of all cultural background to get in touch with us and learn how we can assist them in their intercultural endeavours, extend their network, find cooperation and employment possibilities, learn about study opportunities, secure sponsorships, and set up tours. What we expect from artists is a very open-minded attitude, a curiosity to live among people of other cultures, and a sense of adventure to experiment with their tastes.
