Description

The Hospitality Business and Tourism in Japan Program is an opportunity designed for hospitality business and tourism students and professionals who want to add international dimensions to their careers at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Students are given the unique opportunity to study Japanese hospitality business and tourism in one of Japan's most dynamic and active tourist regions.

Highlights

The HBT program includes study of Japanese language and culture, a keystone course on Japan's hospitality business and tourism fields, field trips, and internship programs directly in the field.

Qualifications

Eligible applicants must complete at least 2 semesters of college in the U.S., hold a 2.5 minimum GPA, and discuss their interest in the hospitality business and tourism industries in their application essay. Students from all fields are encouraged to apply. Students may come from any university. Prior knowledge of Japanese language is not required.
