The Academic Year and Semester Programs in Japanese Language and Culture are intended for students who want to focus on Japanese language study while experiencing life in Japan. Unlike foreign language study in the U.S., students have an immediate context in which to apply and develop their skills.

Cost Include Description:

The Program Fee of USD 8,200 includes tuition, books, and health insurance. A housing fee of USD 2,080 is also assessed for the semester. For students participating in home stays, this covers at least two meals a day and commuting costs between the home stay site and the Center. For students living in the JCMU apartments, the housing fee covers apartment rent, utilities, maintenance, and cleaning.

Airfare, other transportation costs and miscellaneous expenses are not included in these fees.
