Description
Sevilla (700,000), the largest city in southern Spain, and the fourth largest in the country, offers endless opportunities to learn about Spanish culture and history. Located on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, this enchanting capital city of the region of AndalucĂa has become one of the most popular study abroad destinations for American students. A history of this fascinating city recalls events from the Middle Ages and Renaissance period and many monuments and cathedrals still remain.
Depending on the particular program, ISA students will enroll in courses at the historic University of Sevilla, the Menendez Pelayo International University, or the University of Pablo de Olavide, all of which offer great facilities and an impressive faculty. At the ISA office students are always welcome to check email, ask about volunteer and internship opportunities, obtain travel information, receive tutoring, find out details about upcoming ISA excursions, meet up with friends, or simply visit with the friendly and knowledgeable ISA staff. ISA alumni have praised the ISA staff and Sevilla itself as surpassing their study abroad expectations.
