Description
Interstudy provides a wide range of semester and yearlong study abroad opportunities throughout Britain. Our partnerships in the British Isles date to our founding in 1980 and place Interstudy among the most experienced providers of facilitated direct enrollment study abroad programs in the UK and Ireland. Students can enroll in a broad range of courses and actively participate in university life while enjoying Interstudy organized excursions and staying connected to in country staff.
London provides an incredibly rich source of learning and entertainment with all the attractions and amenities of a thriving contemporary city. Kings occupies a central and influential position in the capital and spans three campuses. The Strand Campus, where the Humanities, Physical Sciences and Engineering are housed, is within a five-minute walk of Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, The National Gallery, the Royal Opera House, and St. Paul's Cathedral. The Student Union enjoys uninterrupted views of the Houses of Parliament to the west and the Tower Bridge to the east. Guys Campus at London Bridge, where the Biomedical Sciences are taught, is located close to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and the new Tate Gallery of Modern Art. The Waterloo Campus, where Health and Life Sciences are taught, is next to the South Bank Centre, home of the National Theatre, the National Film Theatre, the Royal Festival Hall and the Hayward Gallery. If London isn't enough for you, the rest of Britain, Ireland, and Continental Europe are just a train, plane, bus, or ferry ride away.

King's nine Schools of Study are Arts & Humanities; Biomedical & Health Sciences; the Dental Institute; Law; Medicine; Nursing & Midwifery; Physical Sciences & Engineering; Social Science & Public Policy; and the Institute of Psychiatry. As a study abroad student you can choose your modules (courses) from a wide range of options across several Schools dependent on scheduling. If you are taking modules in the Biomedical & Health Sciences; Physical Science & Engineering (except Math); Music or Geography Departments supplemental tuition fees will apply. The majority of your classes will be small, with considerable emphasis placed on tutorial and seminar teaching.
When you start at King's you will automatically become a member of King's College London Student Union (KCLSU). Whatever your interests or circumstances, you'll find that KCLSU runs a wide range of services, extracurricular, and social activities to make your life at Kings as easy and enjoyable as possible. King's sport clubs are very active in university competitions and almost every sport is represented.
The King's halls of residence are located in central London within a reasonable commute to the different campuses. There, you'll live with British students in a single room with communal area, shared kitchen, laundry, and private or shared bath.
