Description
Italy and Greece are unmatched when it comes to historical sights. Spend two weeks exploring the remains of ancient cultures while earning JU credit in Humanities.
In Rome, you will marvel at the breathtaking ceiling of the Sistine Chapel and the impressive St. Peter's Basilica. Explore the Italian coastline including the isle of Capri and Sorrento. Travel to Pompeii and see the excavated ruins of theaters, temples and baths.
After that, visit the many sites Greece has to offer such as the Acropolis and imagine life thousands of years ago. Finish the trip with a 4-day cruise through the Aegean Sea, visiting the Greek Isles experiencing both modern and ancient-day Greece.
Earn 3 credits from HUM 389 The Golden Age of Italy and Greece.

Students will stay in hotels with other students on this program. All hotels will have basic amenities, but may not have air conditioning. All breakfasts will be included with the hotel accommodations, and all meals are included on the cruise portion of this program.
