Each of our summer programs are based in an overseas university and taught by regular university staff so we can ensure the high quality of our programs.

Highlights

IFSA-Butler offers three Ireland summer programs in Galway, Cork and Belfast. Students in Galway attend the National University of Ireland, Galway, a university and city steeped in traditional Irish culture, language and history. University College Cork offers the best of traditional scholarship and cutting-edge technology in a beautiful, friendly city. The people of Cork are known for being hospitable and talkative, and those qualities carry over into the welcoming nature of the university. Queen's University Belfast offers an excellent summer base to study all things Irish. The Institute of Irish Studies at Queen's brings together internationally recognized scholars to lecture on Irish history, anthropology, politics, language, literature, film and theatre.
