IES Abroad Rome - Semester/Year Program
Location: Italy: Roma (Rome)
Term: Fall, Spring, Academic Year
Description
Since 1950, IES has been building quality study abroad programs and introducing U.S. students to new places, studies, and ways of thinking. A non-profit educational organization, IES offers high academic standards and extensive financial aid in almost 30 programs throughout the world.
As the saying goes, all roads lead to Rome: the history of art and architecture, of religion and government. Over three million people do their daily business surrounded by 2,500 years of history.
The capital of Italy, Rome is the country's political center and a major religious center, being the host to the Vatican an independent state within Rome. Studying abroad in Rome means learning from Rome and its Mediterranean pace of life from the open markets to the sudden strikes, and the high politics of a European capital.
