Since 1950, IES has been building quality study abroad programs and introducing U.S. students to new places, studies, and ways of thinking. A non-profit educational organization, IES offers high academic standards and extensive financial aid in almost 30 programs throughout the world.

Study abroad in Dublin through the IES Abroad Irish General Studies Program and enroll in IES Abroad courses in the Humanities and Social Sciences that focus on the theme of Tradition, Change, and Identity in Modern Ireland. You may supplement IES Abroad courses with an internship placement for which you will earn academic credit.

The Dublin Irish General Studies program offers enrollment in IES Abroad courses including the 9-credit Peace & Conflict Studies Concentration, internship placements, housing in fully-equipped student apartments, and field trips. Starting at the IES Abroad Center near St. Stephen's Green and Trinity College in the heart of Dublin, this program will help you gain a meaningful cultural experience and a deeper knowledge of what it means to be a citizen of the world.

Highlights

As an IES Abroad Dublin student, you will enroll in classes from a wide variety of subjects, including Anthropology, Cultural Studies, Economics, Film Studies, History, Literature, Political Science, Sociology, and more. Once enrolled in the Irish General Studies program, you may also participate in a 9-credit Peace & Conflict Studies supplementary curriculum.
