Home to the National Theater, Shakespeare's Globe, the West End Theater district, and a vibrant Fringe theater scene, the London theater world is diverse and well-established. The IES Abroad London Theater Studies program gives you the opportunity to engage with London's various theatrical traditions as spectator, writer, performer, or worker.
Starting at the IES Abroad Center in the heart of literary London and just minutes from the steps of the British Museum, you will gain a meaningful cultural experience and a deeper knowledge of what it means to be a citizen of the world.

* Field Study that enriches the classroom experience through in-depth exposure to London's theater scene.
* Field trip to Stratford-upon-Avon (Shakespeare's birthplace), as well as optional trips to locations of cultural and historical importance.
