Study abroad on the IES Abroad Quito Direct Enrollment Program and take a full course load at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito. Not tailored to study abroad students, the Direct Enrollment academic experience is an unfiltered entrée into local academic culture. IES Abroad supports the academic goals of Direct Enrollment students by providing a number of valuable services exclusive to IES Abroad students, including pre-departure and on-site advising, housing coordination, orientation, field trips, and internship and service learning opportunities.

Over the course of the semester, you will come to know Quito's vibrant neighborhoods and winding streets. IES Abroad's Quito Direct Enrollment program offers the culturally rich experience of living in homestays with Ecuadorean families and opportunities to participate in extra-curricular activities; you will have the chance to meet Ecuadorean and international students alike. Starting at the IES Abroad Center in downtown Quito, near the financial district and just steps away from the neighborhood favorite Parque Carolina, you will gain a meaningful cultural experience and a deeper knowledge of what it means to be a citizen of the world.
