Description

Since 1950, IES Abroad has been building quality study abroad programs and introducing U.S. students to new places, studies, and ways of thinking. A non-profit educational organization, IES Abroad offers high academic standards and extensive financial aid in 34 cities throughout the world.

The IES Abroad London and Oxford program on Health Practice & Policy allows you to study in London, Oxford, and Kingston, Jamaica, all ideal locations to examine current and pressing issues in health care, health policy, and the structure and administration of health care systems.

You will enroll in courses at the IES Abroad Center, located in Bloomsbury and just steps away from the British Museum, and travel to Oxford once per week to enroll in a course taught at the University of Oxford's St. Catherine's College. An extended field study in Kingston, Jamaica in the last 8 to 10 days of the term provides the context for further study of health issues and health care within Jamaica--a country with a developing economy.
