This six month marine guide course (one year with placement) takes participants to gain theoretical and practical training in marine guiding, and tremendous work experience at a lodge, hotel or scuba diving center if the work placement option is chosen. The curriculum includes PADI scuba diving courses, marine guide certification, conservation management, marine life identification, first aid, 4 x4 driving, reserve management and Ecotourism.

Content is both theoretical and practical with an optional six-month work experience placement at a variety of lodges, hotels and scuba diving centres around Southern Africa. This course is a fantastic way to enter the world of marine lodge management and professional diving or for just a real life changing experience.
