GlobaLinks Learning Abroad is here to assist you in your exploration throughout the study abroad experience. Our programs are designed so that our local and overseas staff are available 24 hours a day to support you in health and safety matters and enhance your study abroad experience. Through our planned activities and resident directors' personal recommendations for activities you can undertake while abroad, you will be directed on a path of personal, academic, cultural, social, and professional discovery. This team, which supports you throughout your experience, will ensure that you have the most fulfilling experience possible one that is unique to you!

The University of Manchester is one of Europe's top universities, and is internationally recognized for both its teaching quality and research excellence. It is the largest single-campus university in the UK, with approximately 35,500 students. It is also the most popular university in the UK in terms of number of applications from UK students.

The University has an innovative 'Study Abroad plus Leadership and Service' optional program, which enables you to combine Service Learning and Leadership training with your standard study abroad program. Registration for this program is done in advance and a supplemental application is required. Further detail will be provided to those students interested in this unique opportunity.

GlobaLinks Learning Abroad offers a multi-day Bridging Cultures Program (in country). This program blends discussion, cultural exploration, and social gatherings for an informative and fun introduction to the country in which students will be living and studying abroad.

GlobaLinks Learning Abroad staff in the U.S. and abroad are available 24 hours a day for support of students, parents, and advisors. In addition to our London-based Resident Director, GlobaLinks Learning Abroad provides bilingual support staff at several of our sites in Europe to ensure that assistance is available in times of need and crisis.
