You can study abroad for a semester or year at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC) Milan with GlobaLinks Learning Abroad, formerly known as EuroLearn. Your study abroad experience is all about you!

GlobaLinks Learning Abroad is here to assist you in your path of discovery throughout the study abroad experience. We design our programs so that our local and overseas staff are available 24 hours a day to support you in health and safety matters and are also key in enhancing your study abroad experience. Through our planned activities and resident directors personal recommendations for activities you can undertake while abroad, you will be directed on a path of personal, academic, cultural, social, and professional discovery. UCSC Milan, Italy's premier private university, has introduced a program of university courses taught in English available to you. For the first time in Italy, international study abroad students may enroll in a comprehensive Italian university and receive their education in English. The semester courses delivered in English are designed for students who want to increase their understanding of the political, business, cultural and artistic environment and heritage of Italy. The program comprises of courses that define Italy's role within the European Union as well as her relationship with non-European countries. Students who are fluent in Italian can enroll in Italian-taught courses across a variety of disciplines.

Located in the city center of Milan, the UCSC campus is within walking distance of many of Milan's historical, cultural, and religious sites: the Duomo, Santa Maria delle Grazie (Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper), Castello Sforzesco, and many more.

Highlights

The UCSC International Relations Office organizes a free weekend excursion once a semester. Locations will vary per semester and will highlight the treasures of Northern Italian culture such as Padova, Parma, Arezzo or Sienna. Students will discover the sights, sounds and tastes (architecture, vineyards, culinary specialties, and much more) of particular Northern Italian regions.

U.S. University Transcript option is available through our School of Record, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

GlobaLinks Learning Abroad offers a multi-day Bridging Cultures Program (in country). This program blends discussion, cultural exploration, and social gatherings for an informative and fun introduction to the country in which students will be living and studying abroad.

GlobaLinks Learning Abroad staff in the U.S. and abroad are available 24 hours a day for support of students, parents, and advisors. In addition to our London-based Resident Director, GlobaLinks Learning Abroad provides bilingual support staff at several of our sites in Europe to ensure that assistance is available in times of need and crisis.

    Applicants must have the required GPA and have completed at least the equivalent of one year of full-time study at the university/college level (sophomore or higher). Students with a lower GPA than the requirement may be considered on a case by case basis. Please contact our office for more information. Applicants who wish to take regular academic courses taught in Italian must have a minimum of 4 semesters of college level Italian instruction. Required GPA: 3.00
