Description

Immerse yourself in Italian language and see a side of Italian life that most tourists never see. Language practica take language learning outside the walls of the classroom. A traveling seminar takes you to Rome as a part of your History and Culture of Sicily course. Open to students with at least two semesters of Italian language, this program is for students seeking an off-the-beatenpath Italian experience.

The program is based in Catania, an ancient, medieval and Baroque city that is an optimal site for a study abroad experience thanks to its tropical weather, extensive university resources and close proximity to other towns on the island and mainland. By exploring every corner of the city and culture in the language practica and excursions, students uncover the islands unique position at the crossroads of the Mediterranean.
