Description

This program is designed for students at the intermediate to advanced language levels who are ready to refine and cultivate their Spanish language skills. Through language and cultural immersion, students will have the opportunity to grasp a more in-depth look into Argentine and Latin American culture. This program also features an Integrated Studies option, where students at the advanced level may select up to two integrated courses from the regular course listing. Students can also choose an Early Start option arriving early and taking a four-week intensive language preparation course.

Buenos Aires offers students an ideal setting to study abroad, having retained its many old, European traditions while emerging as a political, commercial and industrial center of Argentina. The greater Buenos Aires area boasts more than 13 million people - only 3 million within the city limits - and is famous for its diverse, multi-national population, rich landscape and vibrant culture. The city's residents exude a warmth and friendliness that invites you to hone your Spanish language skills while engaging in your surroundings. As a CEA student, watch and learn how to dance the Tango, Argentine's national dance, or debate politics in a neighborhood cafe. Don't forget to check out Plaza de Mayo, the Casa Rosada or the Colon Theater. Explore the country's vast and dramatic landscape from subtropical north to the sub Antarctic south. Take advantage of the city's access to numerous modes of transportation and explore even more of Argentina, including Iguazú Falls, Bariloche, Mar del Plata, Tigre and Cordoba.
