A 50ft yacht is your home, class and lab for the next 25 days - investigate an unparalleled diversity of ocean ecosystems. Witness complex mechanisms and subtle changes that have taken place over thousands of years and continue to take place today. The Caribbean's Leeward Islands provide a backdrop rich with opportunities for field-based discovery. Explore the islands volcanic origins in Saba and Statia, and study seafloor features typical of the area. Acquire skills in oceanography research techniques and sediment sampling. Learn about coastal ecosystems, their formation and the habitats and organisms that help to shape them.
