All while traveling through Israel, seeing its magnificent scenery and learning about its history.
"A Voyage to Medicine in Israel" is a five-month study abroad program in Israel for Pre-Med and other health/science students, culminating in receiving accreditation from the Tel Aviv University, a world-renowned academic institution.
Hospitals and medical facilities in Israel offer state-of-the-art medical treatment in every aspect of clinical medicine. One of the key elements of the facilities' success is their devotion to clinical and basic research that has led Israel into being a world leader in both basic and applied research. In addition, modern technology plays a leading role in Israeli medicine, and hospitals are constantly pioneering new approaches and technologies that will benefit their patients.
Students will have the opportunity to experience some of the Jewish and other religious holidays, and will become familiar with the locals by staying with them over the holidays. The students will have almost all their weekends free to explore and to travel around Israel in general, and in Tel Aviv, one of the most attractive beach cities in the world, in particular.
Although the program is designed for Pre-Med and other health/science students, students with other academic backgrounds may also be considered (Under special circumstances). Due to the nature of the course, a diverse group of nationalities, as well as diverse fields of interests, might be involved. Thus, the entire curriculum will be delivered in English.
