Description

Work side by side with local communities in Cape Town, South Africa for this once in a lifetime summer internship opportunity. This experience-based program features an internship in either the social development arena, or in businesses in Cape Town townships. Classes provide opportunity for theoretical reflection on this experience and for providing necessary contextual information on South Africa, development debates, the role of the various sectors of the economy and potential of social entrepreneurship to address issues faced in these communities.
