Description
The city, built on the ruins of the Mayan city of t-ho, has been the social and economic center of the Yucatan since the conquistadors arrived. Close proximity to ruins and spectacular beaches have attracted Mexicans and foreigners to relocate to Merida. The city's tree-lined avenues, diverse cultural influences and relaxed lifestyle make for an ideal location to study Spanish.

Participants: Mostly from the US. Wide age range. Also, English, German, French, Italian, and Japanese are taught to locals here.
