Highlights

Spend 4 weeks studying high up in the Andes Mountains. As one of South America's greatest tourist attractions, Cusco proudly carries the title of archaeological capital of America and is the oldest continuously inhabited city on the continent. Cusco is surrounded by snow-capped Andean peaks set against blue sky and white clouds, while down at street level, myths, legends and historic treasures are ever-present in the stone walls and cobbled pathways.

Earn 6 credits studying Spanish language at one of two levels plus Inca art and culture.

Explore nearby Inca ruins, including the most famous of all, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu citadel is one of the most important archaeological places in the entire world and the main destination of Peru. The program includes day trips to Pisac, Aguas Calientes, Maras and Moray as well as orientation and sightseeing in Lima, Peru's capital.
