Studying with AIFS in Wellington is like enjoying your summer vacation in New Zealand. AIFS has sent over 1.2 million study abroad students to more than a dozen cities in the world. Students will have the chance to earn academic credits in environmental studies, film studies, economics, history, international relations, political science, Maori studies, and Pacific studies at Victoria University.
Highlights
Study in the southern tip of New Zealand's North Island, between a beautiful harbor and rolling green hills. A vibrant and cosmopolitan city, Wellington is the political, cultural and creative capital of New Zealand.
Earn up to 18 credits starting off with an 11-day Pacific Studies Program at the University of the South Pacific in Fiji. This program includes several field trips including a day trip to Beachcomber Island and a visit to Kula Bird Park.
Continue on to Wellington where you will attend classes with New Zealand students and live in University-managed housing with New Zealanders and other international students.
Take your international experience a step further and enroll in the Victoria International Leadership Program, where you will attend seminars on global issues and develop key tools for the workplace.
Venture out of Wellington on included excursions to Rotorua, the Wairarapa Region and Sydney, Australia.
