Gaborone is known to be one of the world's fastest growing cities. It is an economic hub as well as the headquarters for Government Ministries, Parliament, the House of Chiefs and most international organizations and embassies. Gaborone boasts all the attractions a major city has to offer - clubs, restaurants, shops, art galleries, stadiums, golf courses, while still being so close to the untouched grasslands and incredible wildlife.
Highlights
The University of Botswana opens its doors to over 16,000 students. All courses are taught in English and housing is offered at the University in the undergraduate dorms. On-campus security ensures the safety of all members of the community.
There are excellent sports facilities available on the large American-style campus including tennis courts, Olympic-sized swimming pool, sports stadiums and exercise facilities. An on-campus clinic provides free medical services. Private hospitals and emergency services are always available as well.
