Description
Come and study in London, a well known international center of business, fine arts, design, theater, technology, politics and finance, has inspired creativity and cutting-edge innovation for centuries. There is something for everyone in London: a bustling financial district (The City), Soho (center of the advertising and public relations scene and home to vibrant night life), street markets, green spaces and elaborate parks, ruins, monuments, political machinations, art galleries and museums. Monuments to Britain's glorious past are found throughout London, too many to mention, though some not to be missed include the Tower of London, the Old Royal Observatory in Greenwich, the British Museum, and Trafalgar Square. Because of its famed galleries, the energy of Soho, the history that lives in the streets, the pub scene and the tranquility of London's parks, London is alive with sources of inspiration.

API offers comprehensive study abroad programs at five universities in London, each with a unique academic focus.
Students interested in studio art, design, communications, and media may choose the University of the Arts, London (UAL). The University of the Arts, London (UAL) is comprised of multiple colleges, including The Camberwell College of Arts, Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, Chelsea College of Art & Design, and the London College of Communication. With more than 100 years of experience in art, design, communication, and education, The University of the Arts program will stimulate and challenge your creativity and innovation as never before!
University College London is ranked as one of the top 10 universities in the world, and offers students the chance to study a wide variety of challenging disciplines. UCL was the first university in England to welcome students of any race, class, or religion, and the first to welcome women on equal terms with men. It has earned a reputation as a center of enlightenment in academia.
At the University of Westminster, students can choose from courses in business, computer science, education, health/human services, humanities, law, government, media and design and more. Semester internships are also available. Summer programs are also available.
The School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) is the only higher education institution in the UK specializing in the study of Asia, Africa and the Near and Middle East and is one of the world's leading institutions of its kind. Academic year students may elect to complete a hybrid Arabic studies program combining a term at SOAS with a term in one of API's Middle Eastern sites in Qatar or Sharjah.
Finally, aspiring international business and economics summer students can study at the world-renowned London School of Economics.
